Droopy or puffy eyelids can make you appear tired, older than you truly are, and can obstruct the upper portion of your vision. Eyelid surgery restores the function of skin, muscle and other tissues around your eyes, clears your field of vision, and, often times, can give your face more youthful, revitalized and improved appearance.

Eyelid surgery is typically performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. When performing eyelid surgery, Dr. Ge will make incisions that follow the natural lines and creases in your eyelids or your forehead, and then remove the excess tissue in the eyelid or your forehead to improve its shape. The procedures typically leave minor scars that will begin to fade within days of the procedure.
